Everyday Clay - A render a day
I’ve been modeling a lot lately so I decided to start a digital journal of all the models and scenes that I make. The everyday renders will be clay renders, meaning that the shots will have basic lighting and little shading/texturing. This enables me to focus on modeling and get better and faster at it. I'll make 25 clay renders, to start with. I'm thinking about doing another series after this one where I'll be texturing and lighting the models and build one scene.
Some of the 3D model were especially made for Academy Award-nominated animationstudio "Job, Joris & Marieke". Those models may be used for there upcoming short film. Check there beautiful work here: www.jobjorisenmarieke.nl.
NOTE: I modeled, lit and rendered all of the models below. These untextured clay models are not to be confused with the final output of Job, Joris & Marieke's new film.
